Hi……my name is Dennis Byrd and I live in Gorham Maine. My passion for woodworking started while in my teens, working with my grandfather in Fairfield Maine doing projects around the house. Neither my grandfather nor I made woodworking our career, but it was always a hobby for both of us. It wasn’t until my impending retirement that I decided to up my game and talent in woodworking. in other words, I could now afford the better tools to assist my craft.  
As my retirement gets closer, I’ve delved more into my hobby. With that said, I do not want my hobby to become my job, so I have decided to focus on making solid hard wood furniture at a very reasonable price. I don’t mind taking some orders (as long as I am capable of making the pieces) but my goal is to make what I enjoy and list the items here for people to buy if they like it.
All my Items are made with rough cut hardwood, mainly walnut, hard maple, ribbon sapele, cherry and ash, milled down to the desired thickness. Some other types of wood I have played around with, and love is purpleheart, zebrawood and leopardwood
Currently I am not able to ship my items, but I am open to delivering them within 40 miles of Gorham Maine. Otherwise, they will be available for pickup.
